How mold remediation works

When mold follows water damage
If a leak or flood wasn't dried out completely or quickly enough, mold can start within 24 to 48 hours. If you've had recent water damage and notice a musty smell, discoloration, or ongoing dampness, it's worth having the area checked.

Mold reactions vary by person and mold type, and this isn't something we diagnose medically — if you have health concerns related to mold exposure, talk to a physician. From a remediation standpoint, our job is removing the mold and the moisture source causing it, regardless of type.
Will the mold just come back after removal?
Not if the moisture source is corrected. Removing mold without fixing the underlying leak, humidity, or ventilation problem is why it often returns — that's why moisture correction is part of every remediation job, not an optional add-on.
Do I need mold testing before remediation?
